It is very clear that we will be using Freestar during the winter. We do not yet know what frequency, but we therefore need heating.
The walls will be insulated 2.5 “and the floor 3.5” with urethane. This will give us around R12 in addition to the interior finish.
Speaking of insulation, we will have to cool down in the summer.
Here is the choice of components for heating and air conditioning:
- Webasto Thermo Pro 90 31,000 BTU
- Wall heater 40,000 BTU
- Autoclima Fresco 9,000 BTU
The Webasto will be used for the heated floor with glycol. It will also be connected to the piping of the truck to warm up the engine. Floor heating will also be possible when the vehicle is in motion. The engine glycol will circulate in the floor piping.
